Another one....

Hehe OMG these really don't cease to amuse me. I am copying below a for real email we received today at work:

"I really want to come to hear the great performers you have, but my children are concerned that I might find exposure to second hand smoke to be intoxicating. Surely there are provisions for older people who might not be as adventurous as the younger set. Is there a place that I would not be exposed to high levels of second hand smoke?"

You know what else makes me feel better about myself?

Stupid people. Especially lazy stupid people.
I work for free at a company (which shall remain nameless). Apparently this is a learning experience, but all Ive really learned so far is how lazy and stupid people can be. We organize one particular large scale event, and I tend to spend about 6 hours a day answering the emails that people send in to us with questions about it.
They are usually always questions which can be simply answered if they took 1 minute to actually read through the information on the website. What boggles my mind is that it often (and yes I did try this out once) takes longer to located the part of the website that provides you with the help/info email address, than it does to find the answer to the question.
And even after answering an average of 100 emails a day, the amount of both laziness and stupidity out there never ceases to amaze me.
My favorite so far was someone who wrote in and was confused about what time tickets would be going on sale. You see we said that they were on sale at 12PM but they were unsure if this meant noon or midnight.
Yea, you read that correctly. Noon or midnight. Mhmm.

I really do love the internet, and the endless amount of amusement it provides for me. I love reading craigslist; usually I stick to the "missed connections" section (ohh its so good) but lately I've been exploring some other amusements craigslist has to offer. And today I found this. In fact, I think I created this blog, so that I could make people read this. (BTW thats the actual email to respond to in case any of you are flatulently talented):

We need a well seasoned farter(s) who can pretty much let one out whenever needed on a daily basis. We are a small start-up entertainment company and we are looking for a few people for this particular job.
